We have now been back for a couple of weeks and I just need to say a few words about our holiday. Firstly, many thanks to you for going to so much trouble to organise a bespoke safari for Lynn and I. Having been to Kenya before, we wanted to go to specific parks which didn't fit into a standard itinerary. Your advice as we discussed the options available was invaluable and because of this, we ended up with a holiday that went to all the places we wanted without too much travelling.

The itinerary was perfect but having organised the entire holiday via email we were a little nervous before we left that the holiday may not match up to our expectations. How wrong we were ! Our flight was on time and on arrival in Nairobi, we were met by our private safari driver Kioko. I cannot praise Kioko enough; he was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. In short he made the entire safari trip a pleasure and nothing was too much trouble for him. The vehicle was comfortable and his driving was excellent. The lodges we visited were all of an excellent standard and all the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. At the end of our safari we flew to Mombassa to be met by your representative who took us personally to our private taxi for the trip to our hotel which again was top rate. The return trip was excellent and again we were met at the airport and walked through the customs and check-in process; it couldn\'t have been made any easier. In short, the holiday of a lifetime, well planned, organised and delivered; and at a price that put many of your competitors to shame. I would be grateful if you could pass this email on to your manager and also Kioko\'s manager in Nairobi. We will be recommending your company to our friends and you are welcome to use this email as you see fit.

My wife and I have now returned from our Kenya holiday and I am writing this to say a profound thank you for your arrangements. From the very start with my enquiry through to saying goodbye to David in Nairobi everything was carried out in a most professional, efficient and friendly way We would especially like to single out David for his pleasant manner, his helpfulness and humour through our time together. He was very representative of the Kenyans we met, and would recommend him to any future travellers. I would not hesitate to use your Company again, or recommend you to other people thinking of travelling to Kenya. (indeed we met a couple of people who had used large well known travel Companies , who had suffered delays and serious changes.) Our visit went absolutely smoothly. and we hope we can make a further booking in the future. (as I mentioned some while ago , my ‘Bibi’ is planning a 50th birthday trip to Keya (her 5th) in 2011 and I will certainly be having words with her. Thank you again, to everyone at Madukha. (one small point-please be aware that pre-2001 US Dollars are generally not accepted and did cause a slight hiccup)

I was going to do this any way! We have never booked a tour organised holiday before - we normally organise it independently. We are converts! I cannot praise it highly enough. There was only one hiccup - and that was on our arrival in Nairobi - but it was not Dennis\s fault ( Our driver). He showed us the piece of paper which he had been given which gave him a pick up time of 8.50am, when we landed at 6am!! However, after that, nothing went wrong. The safari part of the holiday was out of this world - thanks to our driver, Dennis. He had us up early in the morning and took us on breath-taking game drives where we saw all of the big 5 - and loads more besides. He was patient with our photo and video making attempts, and spent just the right amount of time with each stop. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the animals and made sure that we had a great trip. He was always around for reassurance - but not in an intrusive way - a fine balance, which is not easy to achieve, I suspect.

We were incredibly fortunate to be upgraded to Ol Pajeta House which was absolutely incredible. Never have we stayed in such luxury. Walter looked after us there and he was wonderful. The rooms, the grounds and the food and service were out of this world - so thank you very much for the upgrade! The flights to Mombasa were fine - 540 provided a good economy service - snacks and a drink were free - so better than Easijet or Ryannair, any day! The transfers and pickups went smoothly and Papillon lagoon reef hotel was lovely. Lovely staff and nice food. The hotel in Nairobi unfortunately had a wedding party on until all hours, not the best when you have to get up at 6am - but hardly your fault! All in all we would highly recommend Madukha Tours to our friends and family. We believe that it was incredibly good value for a fabulous trip of a life time. Well done!
